When I went to work this morning, it was cold and gray. At lunch, it was cold and gray. On the way home - yep you guessed it, cold and gray. I even drive a gray truck, now how bad does that suck?
I don't like this time of year, all cold and wet. I want sunshine! Ideally I'd like a little sunshine while sitting on a wide porch in a rocking chair, sipping some of that good amber stuff they make in Kentucky and seal with red wax. Now that's a good afternoon.
I used to eschew anything that seemed like day-in, day-out routines. But lately I've given in to exactly that. I get home between 5 and 5:30, catch up on news and emails, watch a couple episodes of NCIS then House MD, have a simple supper, then entertain before the computer for a little while before bed around 10 or 11. It's a highly predictable daily ritual, but its become very comfortable.
Saying that, its time to dive into the freezer and see what's available. Choices are Swedish, Italian, and American cuisines. Wonder what it'll be?
