A Geographical Oddity...

Mississippi Constitution, Article II - Boundaries of the State

Section 3: REPEALED (Note: The former Section 3 stated the limits and boundaries of the state of Mississippi.  The repeal of Section 3 was proposed by the Laws of 1990, Ch 692, Senate Concurrent Resolution No. 520, and upon ratification by the electorate on November 6, 1990, was deleted from the constitution by proclamation of the Secretary of State on December 19, 1990.

Mississippi Code, Title 3, Chapter 3, Section 1, State Boundaries - The limits and boundaries of the State of Mississippi are as fixed in Section 3 of the Constitution of said state.

So my question is, if Section 3 of the Constitution was repealed, there are no boundaries defined, therefore MS Code 3-3-1 refers to something that doesn't exist, what then are the true limits and boundaries of the state?

Or do we know no limits?
