The Mississippi Delta is a quilt of hundreds of patches representing towns, varying cultures and histories from Native Americans through the Civil War and slavery, through both World Wars, civil rights struggles, and floods. The quilt wouldn't be complete without each patch and each story - good or bad. They all make the Delta what it is.
One of the living patches is Po Monkey's Lounge, outside Merigold, MS, just north of Cleveland.
