It seems that I have fallen from grace, and have reached the status of an "un-cool" parent, in as much as it involves my work.
Jay discovered a packet of our Healthy Habits/Healthy People handwashing brochures in my truck this weekend. He said, "so YOU'RE the one pushing all this handwashing junk we're having to do at school?!?!" He said there are handwashing posters and information practically everywhere at school, and the kids are almost fed up with the constant admonishments from their teachers to wash their hands.
I used to be the dad with the really cool job that no other dad in town has. Now I'm the bad guy that makes them wash their hands. Oh well….
