Project 365/115

Spotted this flag on one of the food canteens in Yazoo City today, and it reminded me of the flags flown by Bay St. Louis and Waveland on Highway 90 before Hurricane Katrina.  It was pretty sad to see the tattered and torn flags among the debris of what had once been a pleasant boulevard in those two towns.  Today in Yazoo, this one was flying proudly, a silent reminder that while we may have our problems, we live in the best place on earth...the land of the free and the home of the brave!
